- Lemon- Lemon, due to its high citrate content, is the best natural method for cleaning. It is used for cleaning as a natural cleaner in many ways. It does not only remove rust stains from your home but also has antibacterial properties. You just need to take some fresh lemon juice in a bowl and add a pinch of salt to it. Apply a quarter part of this lemon juice to the rust stain and leave it for about 10 minutes. Clean it after that using a soft brush. The rust stain will be gone.
- Toothpaste- You have only used your toothpaste for your teeth right? But here we are going to use it for rust removal. Toothpaste is the best and mild cleaning agent. Most of the pastes are made with baking soda. These not only remove your dental plaque but also remove the rust stains and scars. Apply a thin coat of toothpaste to the stain. Now, using a soft-bristled brush, start scrubbing the stain in circular motions. After completion, clean the stained area with water or a paper towel.
- Vinegar- Vinegar has no comparison. No other household ingredient is as effective and as strong as vinegar. It is used in almost every other home remedy. This is because the vinegar’s acidity will dissolve all kinds of stubborn stains. Put 3-4 spoonfuls of vinegar directly on the rust stains and leave it for 3 to 5 minutes. Then wipe the floor using a clean and soft cloth. Repeat this step again and again until the stain disappears. You would notice the stains disappearing within the second time.
- Kerosene- Obviously kerosene. There is no better product than kerosene in removing rust from any place. It can be quite similar to vinegar but is a lot more effective and stronger. Put two spoons of kerosene on the stain directly. Leave it as it is for some 10 to 12 minutes. Then rub off the surface using a clean cloth. Do not wash immediately. Wait for five minutes, then clean using water or a paper towel.
